The world according to E-Grrrl

Explaining about a classmate, who bursts into tears every time he doesn’t feel he can do a task:

“He really can’t help it, Mama. You know, he’s just premature for his age.”

Writing a definition for "dinosaur" in her very best handwriting:

“One of a group of exstinked reptiles that lived millions of years ago.”

Discussing an astounding fact she'd learned recently:

"I read that in the Genius Book of World Records!"

Love these!! Great that you are recording them ... you can amuse or gently tease E-grrrl with them down the road ... or just read them yourself down the road and wistfully remember how she was as a young girl (these types of reminders can be particularly poignant during the teenage years). BTW, my favorite is the dinosaur definition.

Oh, I love the things that kids say!! That is so cute and true about boys being premature for their age!

"exstinked".
Love it. They used to smell. She's right.
