Journey of the Magi

As I mentioned yesterday, this is one of my favorite Christmas poems, written by T.S. Eliot. It's the story of faith--and doubt--and what we leave behind and journey toward.

T.S. Eliot makes my mind tingle. The Journey of the Magi is especially multi-layered; without getting into symbolism (which I think can be overdone), this is one of those poems I like to call "chameleon": it affects me differently every time I read it. Thanks for reminding me that it's time to take another T.S. Eliot journey.

I'm a fan of Eliot. The Hollow Men is one of my all time favorites. I had not read this before, thank you for sharing it.
