The truth

E brought home a bag of currants from the garden of a woman who works in his office. I'd never seen or tasted fresh currants before.

E:        What do you think?

V:       They're kind of like blackberries, a little tart.   I like them, they're good.

E:        She's got a ton of them. You could make currant jelly!

V:       Not me.  Have you forgotten I'm currently lazy?

My Mom used to make quince jelly from the quince tree off of her kitchen. I don't think I'd have the patience for that. My mulberry trees fill my yard with muck and I REFUSE to do something productive with them :)

I liked your clever joke :)

What was the 80's band from yesterday? I thought I was an expert, but I'm not :(

The band was Huey Lewis and the News....The song was "Give Me the Keys" and it was on the Small World album. Sexy tune. Loved it.

Good answer. It would have been mine, too.

My mother used to make home made jam. It's a LOT of work. I don't think I would have the fortitude.
