John Mayer isn't the only one waiting on the world to change

Some days I'm just like Petey, sitting, and thinking and waiting on the world to change.

Cats are so funny. They try to be nonchalant. They try to pretend they don't care. But we know that deep down, they are shameless gossips and take great pains to be the first to know what's happening in the world.
So they can look at you when you tell them the news and say, "Oh, that? --I knew that. Saw it out the window just the other day." :-)

E-grrrl's got a good eye for photos.

Ortizzle,

So true! And so well stated. : )

Looks like we have a budding photographer! We love cats and all the entertainment they provide.

Petey! Come on man, you've got it made, why look for change? You've got that kick ass fuzzy blanket window seat, those egg things to knock around, birds to stare and chatter at. You should see the glass half full once in a while.

Does Petey make funny muffled mews when he sees birds outside? My cats used to sit at the window and drool (yes, drool) and make strange noises when they saw birds fly by.

Mama T,

The big "Aaack." Yeah, Petey does that when he's agitated.

She's very talented! I also know exactly what you (and Petey) are saying. I try not to spend too much time waiting but sometimes I feel the days pass by and realise I've been standing still for a week.

What is he sitting on in the first picture? It looks heavenly!

Oh wow V, I didn't realize that your daughter is nine. You might enjoy my latest post. I hope she's keeping a diary.

TB,

He's sitting on a sheepskink fleece from New Zealand. Santa bought everyone in the family one for Christmas. I like to put mine on the leather recliners in the winter.
