I got new stamps for Christmas

These cards explore variations on a theme:

blue dove.jpg

Bold, blue, and boho

gray dove.jpg

Soft, subtle, serene

I gravitate toward simple compositions that draw their strength from color more than from embellishments or complexity of design.

Dove stamp by Penny Black. Flourish stamp by Inkadinkado. Cardstock, ink, and most papers by Stampin Up.

I've always felt indiscriminately attracted to soft tones V, and your stamps actually induce a feeling of serene calm.

Given the local events in this part of Belgium, that is quite an achievement :-)

i like the bold one better, but that's probably due to my Y chromosome

I like the top one best!

I have to go with the top one also ... I've always love that Wedgewood blue color and I like the print behind the dove in that one. I like the bottom one, too, but think I like this much muting when it's a background to something else, like a cover page with text. Both lovely, of course. Cool that you got some new toys for Christmas ... a gift thatkeeps on giving with your talent. :-)

I think the second one needs a whisper of organdy ribbon--sheer white--or a few silver brads...

It's not quite complete...

I like both. The message is clear whether it comes in bold or not.
