You are right ... that was a brilliant essay ... the author conveyed his point of view in crystal clear fashion and in relatively few words ... count me in as one who feels I should be able to be a Christian WITHOUT judging others, pushing my beliefs on them, and making religion political. Thanks for pointing us to it!

Hey there V-Grrrl, thanks for passing on this link. Although I'm not sure what I believe when it comes to God, Andrew Sullivan [ http://www.andrewsullivan.com ] is so well spoken/written. I don't usually agree with his politics, but he's a smart and interesting man.
