Those beautiful red tulips would raise anyone's spirits! And look how green it is outside. I'm already feeling better! Hope you and yours are too.

Although I'm the proud owner of a lawn-free balcony, I always wonder how people manage to keep their lawns this green.

Many of my friends own houses with gardens, but this perfectly cultivated garden makes me wonder where you managed to hide that pro-gardener ;-)

Peter,

The irony is that we've done absolutely nothing to the lawn, ever. We've always have been natural lawn types, even in America where people can be absolutely neurotic about achieving some idea of perfection with their grass. I like it a little weedy and wild--I guess that reflects my character. : ) I love how the lawn is green year round in Belgium.

While we've done nothing with the grass, E *is* a Master Gardener and even though we've only been here for three years, he invested a lot of sweat equity and euros in creating a large flower bed featuring bulbs, perennials, and lavender. I hope the next tenants appreciate it.

Ahhhh - tulips. There is nothing brighter, sweeter, more magical than tulips. What a beautiful shot.

Wow! Though I'm not a fan of tulips, I am a big fan of red. And that is as gorgeous a red as I've seen in nature. Beautiful photo. It's definite "wallpaper" material.

Red is my favorite color.

I am coveting your green grass. My backyard, while a beautifully natural landscape, has only paved pathways to separate the woodsy surroundings. Di will be proud of your photography.

This reminds me of your "red" art. Lovely.
